February 28th, 2009 OTK Tube Socks

So I was having a little dance party at the apartment when my plans fell thru for the night and decided to take a few shots…

Finally wearing my OTK Turquoise tubes from Hot Topic. They’re super comfy and reaaaally long! And they stay up quite well too! Wore them with my new boots from Ross Dress For Less and of course, lots more turquoise! Here’s a close up of the socks and boots:

Highly recommended and they come in more bright colors like yellow, green, orange, and pink. I believe I have the yellows too.

November 11th, 2007 Star Tights

These are some awesome tights!! I got them in-store at Forever 21 and they ended up being even nicer than expected!!

I wore them to the bar with a cute red plaid skirt (only a dollar at DEB!) and a lace-trimmed tank from Forever 21. I also still had to wear my walking boot out so I put some cute shoelaces on it to match the ones in my Converse, they were red stars and skulls, but I didn’t get any pics of that.

Here’s a close-up of the stars! Aren’t they just adorable?? They’re a little bit see-thru and the tights themselves are softer and sturdier than I expected. You have no idea how worried I was that I’d snag them with the velcro on my walking boot and ruin them the first time out. Wouldn’t be the first time something like that has happened to some cute tights, but luckily it was not the case and I have them to wear again someday!!

Not sure if you can still pick these up, saw some tights on the web site but these might be out of stock right now. U could always try in-store to see if they have them there still cuz I noticed the web site sometimes gets rid of stuff and then it pops up in stores for the first time.

November 2nd, 2007 Grey and Green

Ok so we all I know I like to match, well this time I did an AWESOME job. Was at the mall with my sister the last time she was in town and I picked up this cute green and grey plaid skirt from Charlotte Russe. I knew I had a grey shirt to match at home but wanted to keep looking for something else while I was at the mall. Ended up finding the perfect color earrings and top at Wet Seal so I picked them up too. Then when I got home I realized I had the tights too and had just never worn them before, so I threw that all together and added some grey legwarmers to tone it down a bit cuz the tights are so bold and since I have to wear that Walking boot still when I leave the house.

So I wore this all to the bar with Tess last night and we had a blast. Got REALLY drunk and was running around having lots of fun the whole night. It was great!

Oh yeah, the tights are Hue from Kaufmann’s and I think I got them on sale really cheap at the time. And the legwarmers were in a set with some OTK socks from Walmart a few years back and are one of my fav pairs.

April 13th, 2007 Royal Blue N40’s

So I got these as a wish list purchase a while ago but haven’t actually worn them out of the house yet, although I almost did twice, damn weather! They’re beautiful Royal Blue N40’s!!

The shirt I wanted to wear them with is also Royal blue and is a recent purchase from Forever 21. They’re not quite the exact same color but it’s close and they don’t look bad together. It was just cold and rainy and I was going out so I didn’t feel like wearing the outfit.

Un-cuffed they go ALL THE WAY up my legs and would likely stay there no problem! I love how the tops of these feel especially, I wish the whole thing felt as soft. I bet if they come out with Ribbed N’s and made them just like the tops of these they’d be a HUGE seller because they’d fit an awesome range more comfortably I bet. Not too big on how they look on the inside of the tops, but I just make sure the outside is showing when I cuff them down just over my knees and it’s totally not a problem. They’re nylon (thus the N in N40’s) so they’re tighter throughout the legs than I remember the M40’s being, but they stretch a lot better too. And the colors, from what I can tell by having just one pair and pictures I’ve seen of others, are so bold and bright I’m loving it! Definitely plan on picking up some more pairs someday!

January 31st, 2007 Pink Long Socks!

So I bought these pink long socks a while ago but only ever wore them in the combo I just HAD to have (the one in this layout) This time I tried to switch things up by just wearing the socks cuffed at my knees. It was pretty cold out but it’s supposed to be the coldest so far this winter on Friday and I wanted to wear a skirt while I still could. Went over to visit with Tess and Skye-Marie at her mom’s house down the street. The socks kept falling down a little and Tess was like “Why are you wearing them cuffed?” and I said I didn’t think they fit all the way up uncuffed, but I tried it and it turned out they stayed up a lot better that way!
Long socks!

They ended up looking like ribbed tights or something because they go up far enough on my legs that you couldn’t see the tops under my skirt.

Long Socks!

I actually wore them with a jean skirt and boots but couldn’t find the skirt again when I took the pics later so I grabbed this skirt and heels instead. It turned out that a skirt wasn’t the best option for the day because I was running around playing with Skye-Marie the whole time and had to be bothered constantly adjusting my skirt and sitting different so nothing was showing. Even shorts would have been better, but oh well!

Long Socks!

As you can see, the socks still roll down a little, mostly because my thighs are so large, but it still looks super cute when you can see a little of the tops. I wouldn’t bother with a garter belt or anything because they don’t fall down as much as they did when they were cuffed so it’s really not a problem.

Not sure exactly which longsocks these are since I remember there were two different lengths when I got them a few years ago. But if you want a pair you better hurry up, they’re in the clearance room now so there are probably very few pairs left. Don’t Miss Out!!

January 1st, 2007 Cuban Heels on New Years!!

Happy New Year every one!!

I decided to dress up again this New Years in the same adorable dress I wore a few years back. I stayed in till about 11, then headed down the street with my parents to their friends house to watch the ball drop and then Stephanie picked me up and we headed to the bar.

Took a bunch of pictures out and about but didn’t get any of the whole outfit till after I got home.

Lots of accessories with this outfit. Two necklaces, one grey and one black, both long enough to double over, then the pink earrings to match the ribbon belt that goes with the dress.

And then of course my Cuban heel thigh highs held up by the black lace garter belt that Sock Dreams sells.

And last but not least, my new shiny black pumps!!
Me and Stephanie were pretty much twins again, although not on purpose, cuz her dress was pinstripe as well, and she wore black shoes and beaded necklaces too! I guess we just start thinking alike after hanging out for this long now.

October 26th, 2006 Sexy Nurse with Opaque and Fishnet

The black vinyl nurse costume made a comeback this year for Halloween, but I couldn’t just wear it again, I had to switch it up a little. So this time I wore solid red opaque tights with my footless fishnets and also picked up a crop with a nurse symbol on it from Hot Topic. I wore the costume to Shocktoberfest with my friend Stephanie, and we made her a costume that was similar too!

Her costume features my black vinyl corset (also by Leg Avenue) worn over a long skirt she had for a while. She also picked up a little Devil accessory kit at Party City that was red and shiny and went well with the vinyl. It included the ears, pitchfork and tail. We looked super hot together as you can see!!

The costume is REALLY short, but I had extra protection with the two layers of tights and a pair of vinyl boy short undies underneath. The tights are really bright but the fishnet over top helped to tone it down a bit. Plus since they were footless I didn’t have that weird feeling on my feet from the netting after standing for a while. We didn’t stick around for any costume contests even though we probably would have done pretty well if we had, but we headed back towards home and hung out at our local bar as the ONLY two people in costume and it went well. Usually I’m pretty nervous when I stand out like that, but I think having Stephanie dressed up with me helped a lot. And our costumes were a big hit with nothing but compliments and admiring stares so that helped as well!
