| November 26th, 2005 | Red and Black Stripes |
I don’t wear a lot of red because I don’t usually like it that much but today I decided to go all red and black and it looked really nice.
The outfit is a nice red ribbed sweater, black pants, black & white striped knee high socks under red and black striped arm warmers worn as legwarmers and my black converse that I changed to red laces for this outfit. I think it was very pretty. Red and black seems to always be a bold bright look and I think I wore it well with this combo.
The socks were in a three pack from Delia’s a while back but the K Bell Knee Highs would make a great substitution and are probably even better than these ones. (I have them in black and yellow & those are one of my favorites). The armwarmers are Hot Topic brand which I really like because they’re nice and loose on the arms so they don’t squeeze too hard and they don’t have to stretch much to wear on your legs either. They were both really comfortable and stayed up right under my knees the whole time at work with no problems at all. And they definitely helped with keeping my legs warm the little bit that I was outside today. Posted in Arm/Legwarmers, Hot Topic, Knee High/OTK, Stripes | No Comments »

| November 20th, 2005 | Cotton Candy Nordic Stripe Legwarmers |
New legwarmers and they’re totally awesome!! They’re called Nordic Legwarmers in “Cotton Candy”.
Wore the legwarmers with light pink tights I’ve mentioned several times before. Also a longer denim skirt and pink ribbed sweater with blue and pink Saucony sneakers. Wore this all to a party at my friend Brandi’s house and then stopped in at the bar afterwards. Got tons of compliments at the party and some of my friends might be picking up a pair for themselves soon!!
They stay up great and would probably even go over pants but I don’t wear them that way so I haven’t tried. Over tights they stay up even better than on their own and they definitely helped cuz it was FREEZING out last night! |

| November 15th, 2005 | Black/Pink Stars |
Sock it to me Socks are GRRRRRRRREAT!!!
Wore these to work with a mini skirt Brandi gave me, a black beater, white pyramid belt, and black long sweater thingy. My sister said it’s supposed to be like the last warm day for a while and I had to take advantage of skirt time while it’s still here. Definately need more tights cuz it’s gonna be COOOOOOLD out from now on!
I wasn’t supposed to be spending money since I just got a new digital camera but when I saw these I had to snap them up. I got them in Pink and Black as well as Grey with white stars. And I also got the Brown Stripes by Sock It To Me too. They’re so wonderful because they’re soft and nice and can stretch all the way over my knees although I wear them right below cuz I don’t think they’d stay up all the way. They stay up great and don’t cut the circulation out of my legs or anything like that. A++ I’ll definately be looking for more Sock It To Me styles in the future. And it’s a bonus to be supporting a female run USA company as well! |

| November 12th, 2005 | Yellow Argyle |
My friend Brandi gave me some awesome Yellow Argyle socks that she got on Clearance at Hot Topic cuz she knew I would wear them a lot more often than she would. I decided it would go great for 80’s Night with my yellow “I <3 the 80's" shirt.
It was pretty cool since the socks and tights lined up really well. Unfortunately I didn’t get any full body pics while we were out so I had to take pics later without my cute make up they put on me and such.
I LOVE these tights. I got them ages ago but haven’t worn them that much since I didn’t used to wear tights that much. But lately it’s pretty necessary with how cold it’s gotten and since I have so many more skirts than pants now-a-days. You can get them at Sock Dreams now! You’ll love them too! The socks are probably hard to get though since I think they’re Men’s and were on clearance real cheap at Hot Topic when she got them so they’re probably gone by now most places. |

| November 6th, 2005 | Green Striped “Pink Socks” |
Just got a new digital camera, a Canon Powershot SD400 that’s so tiny it fits in my pocket and easily in my purse or where ever else I want to put it. I’m real excited about it so I went outside to take a few pics in the nice fall weather.
The outfit is my pea green Pea Coat, a green top, a pink dip-dyed skirt and my new Green striped pink socks and green disc earrings. I’m really getting into the green lately, and I’ve been getting a lot more earrings and such as well. The Pink socks line from Victoria’s Secret is awesome, which I’m sure I already mentioned. I just HAD to have these green stripes. They stay up comfortably and the colors are so bright and cute they’re bound to draw admiring looks. I know my friend Brandi absolutely loves them too! |

| November 3rd, 2005 | Nurse Costume w/ Fencenets |
This year for Halloween I dressed up THREE TIMES!! I’m big on costumes and think dressing up is fun! The first costume I wore was this sexy black vinyl nurse costume to the Halloween party at work. It was a Friday so I had to be behind the bar all night. But it worked out in my favor when the tips rolled in and I still had fun, even though I didn’t get to sit down and drink with my friends.
I originally got the costume the year before but didn’t get to wear it out of the house because I didn’t end up going to any parties and was of course too old for Trick-Or-Treating. I did win the Costume Contest at Camgurls for $50 though so that was cool!! These next pics are from that contest, taken with my webcam at the time. I also won third in the costume contest at work this year!!
As you can see, I wore several different stocking combos with this costume. In the first picture it was the black fencenet thigh highs. Then in the webcam shots from the contest it was the red fencenet thigh highs over black tights or just bare legs. And actually, when I wore it to work it was the Merona Argyle tights that I haven’t featured yet but that you can see in the party pics at my other gallery here. I’m a big fan of the Fencenet thigh highs. They stay up really well and come in lots of different fun colors, which I have several of myself. I like how the holes are big enough for your toes to fit through comfortably when not layered over something else. They also have a completely different look when you DO layer them over some solids. The black tights were nice and opaque and added some warmth to the look even though I never went out like that. Unfortunately I have no idea where they went to, I don’t remember getting runs in them so they’ve just slipped away somewhere and I have yet to find them after several searches. I guess I’ll have to pick up another pair when they come back in stock or if I find them some place else. |
