So it’s that time of year already, the cold winds are blowing and layering is soon to become a must if you ever want to leave the house.

It’s working out kinda nice for me lately since I don’t fit in a lot of my jeans anymore and long peasanty/hippie skirts are great for the fall. This is one of the various long skirt, socks, leg warmers, and scarves outfits I’ve worn recently, unfortunately it’s the only one I actually got pictures of. Never fear though, there will be plenty more opportunities soon enough.

I’m wearing my little hat which you can’t see too much of in the picture. Also my “Kiss Me, I Don’t Smoke” frog shirt with checkered skinny scarf from Pac Sun and long black skirt. The socks are KBell over the knee stripes in black and grey worn under Basic Black No Foot Boot Socks both from Sock Dreams

I love both items to pieces, seriously, everytime I’m asked what my favorite socks are the K Bell OTK Stripes always get mentioned, usually the black and gold pair but they’re both the same. And these leg warmers are my absolute favorites as well.

I’ve gotten a little thicker lately so the socks pinched a little over my knees after a while but I’m sure they’ll stretch, they’re very stretchy, that’s what they do. They’re very comfy regardless.

And the leg warmers and thick and warm. I like them all scrunchy but they’re just as nice pulled up or folded. I even like to wear them under jeans sometimes. They DEFINITELY need to make more colors of these, I wish I could come up with a list of the ones I’d want, I’d definitely snap up some more cuz I just love them that much.

I even got a compliment from Stephanie’s cousin that he liked my stockings. I guess I kinda brought attention to them without meaning to when I kept pulling at the tops cuz they were digging in when I was trying to sit and watch Grey’s Anatomy with everyone on his bed. May just have been a nervous twitch type of thing cuz I’m shy and just couldn’t get comfortable though.

Since I realize I’ve featured Skater Socks a ton lately, I’m not gonna review them for the 1,000 time, you all know I love them. I just wanted to post this picture because I like it and it’s been a while since I posted anything.

Also in the new shipment I got the Grey Tubes Combo pack! I really like how the colors look against the grey socks. These blue ones are really cute and I love them a lot in that wearing around the house all day type of way.

This picture is pretty fitting for the day since I’ve been really beat and tired all day long. I didn’t think these were 22inch socks just because they don’t seem to go up as high as the white ones that I have, but I think it may just be something different with the yard that makes up the grey ones. They don’t seem to stay up as well either, like they seem a little baggy in the foot/ankle area, but they don’t fall all the way down either. I think that has to do with them not going up as high as the other ones I have.

The rest of the outfit is the same black shorts I wore running the other day and my favorite tee shirt, Abominal Snowman!!

I really love these socks and highly recommend them for something to sleep in or lounge around in the house all day because they’re really comfy for that type of thing. And I think they’d do great for people with a little shorter or a little thinner legs than mine cuz then they’d probably fit just the same as the regular white 22 inch tubes do on me.

Got my new shipment of Skater Socks in last week and I love them!! Wore this outfit out jogging with Stephanie.

My boy AJ grabbed the other pair earlier in the morning so it would have been cute if we could have hung out and gotten a picture together while wearing the same socks but he wasn’t outside when we went past jogging so it didn’t happen. He did say that they were really comfy and soft when he was putting them on though.

The rest of the outfit is a gray beater over a sports bra (not pictured) and paired with the ever popular American Apparel black running shorts. Pretty much ALL I seem to wear anymore because they are the world’s best shorts and some of the few things I still fit in right now (thus the need for exercise lately!)

These are the 22 inch Skater Socks in case you wanted to pick up a pair! I wore the green and black 25 inchers a couple times last week to work but forgot to get pictures. I don’t like them as much cuz they’re a little too long that they don’t quite go over my knees but don’t fit right just under my knees without falling down. I’m sure I can get them to shrink a little once I wear them so I don’t see it as being a problem. I just probably won’t go for the 25inchers again and the 30’s or 27’s should definitely hit over the knee so I’ll have to pick up some of them soon too!

P.S. Wait a sec… maybe they are 25inchers too and just don’t go as high as the green and blacks do cuz I couldn’t find black and gray on the 22 inch page…. Didn’t have an invoice type thing with the shipment so I can’t really be sure. Either way though, I love them and so does the boy!

Ok so I didn’t get the best pictures of the socks this time around but still wanted to share since they have already been featured not too long ago although this is the first time I got to wear them out and about.

We like to dress up for Steelers games and Thursday was the Season Opener. I made this shirt earlier in the day. I was originally gonna spell Stillers since I didn’t have enough white E’s for Steelers but I’m not a Yinzer so I decided against it and figured out I could spell Cowher Power with the letters I had, so I did!

The rest of the outfit is solid black American Apparel running shorts and my yellow and black dreamy stripes!

Stephanie and my sister both borrowed pairs of my Skater Socks to wear too but I didn’t get any pictures of them in them that night so I didn’t get to share those too. Still working on figuring something out for us to have a triplets day with the three of us all in matching socks but I do still plan on doing that soon!

So I finally got a friend to dress up like me in the skater socks and cute shorts!

Meet Stephanie! She’s a friend of my sister’s from high school who recently started coming around more often and now me and her have been hanging out a lot as well. It was actually her idea cuz she likes the way I dress and I of course was more than happy to share for the day!

The outfits are white beaters, kelly green (on me) and red (on Stephanie) American Apparel Running shorts and 22 inch Skater Socks with Adidas massaging sandals!

I actually gave her the red pair from the Journey’s pack at first on accident but she didn’t like them. Said they were too tight on her calves and she couldn’t figure out which side was which because the toe seams aren’t obvious. But then I found the Skater Socks version in my basket and she loved those. Got a lot of attention when we went out to the bars like that. Actually got kicked out of the first bar for wearing solid white tops which is just about the most ridiculous thing ever!

She’s definitely all about dressing up like this again together so I’m sure we’ll have more pics soon!
