| November 19th, 2006 | Brown Argyle Tights |
Ok so I didn’t get any pictures of the two of us together, but after the game yesterday me and Steph decided to dress alike again and head out to the bar. I was wearing my new brown argyle tights from Target with a short brown cord skirt and skull beater with brown beads. Steph wore the Purples and Black argyle tights and matching cord skirt with black beater and black beads. We ended up going to Crossings but didn’t have anyone to hang out with so we only had one drink and then tried Roma’s which was even worse so we just went home. This is why we didn’t end up getting any pictures together in our outfits. I’ll definitely try to get some of her in her outfit or us together the next time she comes over when she brings it back.
But in the meantime, I’m excited to also show off my adorable American Eagle heels that I never got to wear out till last night! Aren’t they just too cute! I fell in love with them instantly but didn’t have an outfit to match till now!! Posted in Argyle, Full Length, Target | No Comments »

| November 18th, 2006 | 25 inch Black & Green Skater Socks w/ Boots |
I planned on wearing this outfit out on Friday night this week but didn’t end up going anywhere. Luckily Stephanie wanted to go out on Saturday night so I got to wear it then. The skirt is an old find from Deb a while back, and the tank is the Basic Knit Tank from Forever21. Socks are 25 inch Skater Socks in black with two green stripes and I wore them with my Knee High boots from Fashion Bug.
There’s something a little odd about these socks, not sure if it’s just the pair I got or if it’s the Black and Green combo or maybe even the two stripe variations in general. Whatever it is, the top ribbed section where the stripes are isn’t big enough (or too big?) so the socks fall right over the knee cap instead of making it over and therefore they tend to scrunch down a little and you can’t see the stripes. But I just keep pulling them up so you can. Other than that, I love them and they’re very comfy.
Part way through the night me and Stephanie ended up switching shirts because she was hot but couldn’t take her little jacket off without showing her bra and it didn’t match so it would have looked weird. But I was wearing a black bra so we traded shirts in the bathroom for a while. Her shirt was a halter and I kept feeling strangled in it so the switch didn’t last long before we went back to trade again. This time we just worked on tucking her bra in nice so you couldn’t see it and that’s how she wore it the rest of the night. |

| November 16th, 2006 | Candy Cane Stripes |
So I was just taking some pictures in different outfits with my black leggings for a contest when I decided to put on my Red and White striped thigh high socks for a few shots as well. I’ve been wanting to wear them for a while now after getting in the holiday spirit thanks to a MySpace survey and those festive Christmas Coke cans I’ve been drinking lately.
I bought these socks last year when my thigh highs that came with my Santa’s Helper costume got runs in them before I could wear them out of the house. They’re by Leg Avenue so I thought they’d be the same thing, but these turned out to be sock material as opposed to nylons and another pair of socks I got at the time ended up looking better with the costume so these never got worn.
These are really great socks, much like the rainbow stripes. They’re really comfy and stay up awesome all on their own. But the color combo is very seasonal and doesn’t feel like something I could wear year round so I definitely need to get these out and about on the town sometime in the next month or so before the holidays are over and they miss out for another year. Leg Avenue really needs to make some more generic color schemes in these socks so I can wear them anytime and not feel out of place about it, because they really are that great and it’s a shame to keep them locked away. |

| November 11th, 2006 | Yellow/Black Inklineds and Legwarmers |
So I was getting ready to go out the other night and I had some trouble picking between two combos of socks to wear with my outfit. The outfit was my long white skirt with my striped skull shirt and a matching scarf headband. I couldn’t decide if it looked better with the yellow & black Inklineds and leg warmers or just the leg warmers alone. Either way I was wearing them with my open-toed white heels.
I really liked the Inklined’s but heard they’re going to be weaned out at Sock Dreams so that was just the push I needed to pick up the Yellow and Black’s that I had my eye on for a while. Unfortunately I didn’t have an outfit in mind to wear them with so I still haven’t worn them out of the house. That’s why I was trying to put together this outfit for them.
I thought they looked really good either way, but my sister said she liked without the socks better. But it still remains a mystery since I never did end up going out that night. So what do you think? Does the combo look best with or without the Inklined Socks underneath the leg warmers??? |
