| January 31st, 2007 | Pink Long Socks! |
So I bought these pink long socks a while ago but only ever wore them in the combo I just HAD to have (the one in this layout) This time I tried to switch things up by just wearing the socks cuffed at my knees. It was pretty cold out but it’s supposed to be the coldest so far this winter on Friday and I wanted to wear a skirt while I still could. Went over to visit with Tess and Skye-Marie at her mom’s house down the street. The socks kept falling down a little and Tess was like “Why are you wearing them cuffed?” and I said I didn’t think they fit all the way up uncuffed, but I tried it and it turned out they stayed up a lot better that way! They ended up looking like ribbed tights or something because they go up far enough on my legs that you couldn’t see the tops under my skirt.
I actually wore them with a jean skirt and boots but couldn’t find the skirt again when I took the pics later so I grabbed this skirt and heels instead. It turned out that a skirt wasn’t the best option for the day because I was running around playing with Skye-Marie the whole time and had to be bothered constantly adjusting my skirt and sitting different so nothing was showing. Even shorts would have been better, but oh well!
As you can see, the socks still roll down a little, mostly because my thighs are so large, but it still looks super cute when you can see a little of the tops. I wouldn’t bother with a garter belt or anything because they don’t fall down as much as they did when they were cuffed so it’s really not a problem. Not sure exactly which longsocks these are since I remember there were two different lengths when I got them a few years ago. But if you want a pair you better hurry up, they’re in the clearance room now so there are probably very few pairs left. Don’t Miss Out!! Posted in OTK/Thigh Hi's, Sock Dreams, Solids | No Comments »

| January 30th, 2007 | For Sale… |
I’ve moved the Sale items over here so people don’t have to sign up for the boards anymore just to say they are interested in an item I’m trying to get rid of. I can accept cash via paypal or well concealed through the mail, but no credit cards, personal checks, etc. All socks have the shipping included in the asking price because I didn’t have to pay shipping for them either. Shoes I’ll charge you the exact price the post office charges me since they’re heavier thus cost more to ship and I’m already asking much less than what I paid for them originally. I’m not in this to make a profit, I’m just trying to get my money back on things that I never got to wear and give my unwanted or unused stuff a new home where someone will love and wear them. All of these items are in awesome condition. In most cases they are never even worn out of the house. I’m getting rid of things that have just been tried on and didn’t fit right, or that I never found anything to wear with. I will wash them before shipping if you like. Payment is to be received before I send an item out but I will hold the item (first come, first serve) if you need some time. If you need any more pictures or info on any of these items just let me know. In some cases I am willing to do a trade, if you have something I want and I have something you want and they’re of equal value then why the hell not! Posted in For Sale | Comments Off

| January 30th, 2007 | Light Pink Leg Warmers |
Up Sox says: 2 ply sweater knit, loose knit, very comfortable! Machine Washable Made in the USA Many Colors to choose from All approximately 25-27″ long. I ordered these through UpSox because I thought pink would be a color I wear a lot of and could find a match. Unfortunately they didn’t go with any of the pink that I have so they never got worn. These are very warm and nice as I have another pair in Royal Blue that I’ve worn a couple of times. They’re nice and thick and perfect for keeping your legs warm in a skirt or under jeans. They look really cute worn all the way to the knees with a little slouching here and there. Very loose throughout the leg but have elastic tops and bottoms so they stay up nicely. Asking Price: $6 Posted in For Sale | No Comments »

| January 30th, 2007 | Neon Green Leg Warmers |
UpSox says: 2 ply sweater knit, loose knit, very comfortable! Machine Washable Made in the USA Many Colors to choose from All approximately 25-27″ long. These are by UpSox although I purchased them through Sock Dreams. They were an impulse buy because I really liked the picture Sock Dreams had for them. When I got them they were just as nice but I realized that I don’t have any neon green to wear them with so they just sat around un-used for a long time and I finally decided they needed a new home. These are very warm as I have another pair in Royal Blue that I’ve worn a couple of times. They’re nice and thick and perfect for keeping your legs warm in a skirt or under jeans. They look really cute worn all the way to the knees with a little slouching here and there. Very loose throughout the leg but have elastic tops and bottoms so they stay up nicely. | January 30th, 2007 | Neon Green Armwarmers |
100% Acrylic and Made in the USA. These arm warmers are available from Sock Dreams here but not currently in this neon green color. Brand new they go for $8 which is what I’m asking for since I’ve never worn them past just trying them on when I first got them (when I took pics for the journal). They’re too tight on my arms for my comfort and I never did find anything to wear them with. Asking Price: $8 Posted in For Sale | No Comments »

| January 30th, 2007 | Black and White Zebra Tights |
These I purchased at Hot Topic a while back but don’t remember what I paid for them so I googled and found them for anywhere between $7 and $14.99. Checked Hot Topic’s page and their tights range from 8-10 dollars a pair but I’m sure I got mine using my friend’s discount so I’m only asking $6. These are pretty cute and fit me just fine but I just don’t think they go with anything that I have or wear. I’ve had them for a while and they’ve just been sitting in my “To Be Worn” cart all sad and neglected. They’re in perfect condition and the design is woven on which is pretty cool. The panty area is solid white but the rest is striped all the way down to the toes. Asking Price: $6 |

| January 30th, 2007 | Saucony Grey/Pink sneakers Size 8 1/2 |
I got these a while ago but have only worn them a few times, just didn’t have too much to match. In original box with the top ripped off so they were easier to see in my closet. Light dirt on the white section of the shoes, otherwise looks brand new, even the bottoms are clean! They’re called the Logan MV which I couldn’t find on their official site right now. They’re suede and nylon. These go for $42-45 to start, but I’m only asking $15. Posted in For Sale | No Comments »
