February 26th, 2007 Sourpuss Skulls and Stripes

I got the Sourpuss OTK Skulls and Stripes a few months ago as a wish list purchase with the Stars and Stripes but I didn’t get to wear them out till this past Friday night at Talerico’s. Wore them with my green tank and black asymmetrical skirt and black boots paired with my green and white beaded necklaces.

Got a few compliments and one guy said I reminded him of a girl on NCIS because she wears crazy outfits that actually look nice. I forgot to look her up though since I haven’t seen the show. Also on a trip back from the bathroom someone called out “Jamie-Lynn Socks!” and I was like yeah. So later I asked someone about it and turns out it was someone I had talked to on my MySpace page but had never met before. And coincidentally he’s a cousin of someone I know so I thought that was neat. Small world, lol.

The socks stay up pretty well. I have big knee caps so I had to pull them up over them a few times, but other than that they stayed up to at least ON my knees. And they’re very comfy and the skull design thankfully didn’t stretch out weird at all. Wish the little skull ones did that so I could wear them, but no such luck for me. The deal fell through on those though, so if you want to buy my pair off me, and will actually wear them, check the For Sale section.

February 16th, 2007 Purple Journeys Tubes

These purple socks are part of the 5 pack I got from Journey’s since at the time they didn’t have any of the same colors in the Skater Socks brand.

I actually wore them under jeans with a matching shirt sometime last week but didn’t take pictures till tonight and didn’t really feel like finding the rest of the outfit so I just threw on my cute star jacket and took the pics in that.

The angle on this picture makes my legs look shorter and fatter but I like it anyway. And the shoes don’t look too bad either. Still sad that they’re a little messed up color-wise from washing them so much after the flood.

As for the socks, they’re thinner than Skater Socks with different toe seams and don’t go all the way up to knee high, but pretty close.
