America’s Best Dance Crew on MTV…
Episode 7, last week, had all three girls in Kaba Modern wearing some cute Skater Socks in part of their performance. Unfortunately they went home that week but a couple guys in Status Quo were wearing Skater Socks in their second performance later in the episode. The show is replayed constantly and the live finale is tonight so I’m sure it’ll be on again before then. You can also watch the full episodes online at mtv.com.

Beauty and the Geek…
Last week’s episode had the Beauties trying to compete against the geeks in a talent show on stage, a few of the girls were wearing various knee highs and Skater Socks…

This past Tuesday night’s episode had EVERYONE on both teams in Skater Socks. The Beauties team were in pink with white stripes and the Geeks team were in white with Blue stripes. They played a game of Flag Football in these outfits.

I also got these with that e-card a while back… it was a big order huh?! These are the Sock It To Me Winking Skulls and they’re super cute!! The Skulls are Woven, so a little bit of distortion may occur, but since they’re so small it wasn’t really a big deal. Bigger calves may want to stay away though.

I’m wearing them right now with my brand new Skeleton Hoodie from Journey’s, a red tank from Forever 21 and jeans from Charlotte Russe. Here’s a closer view of the socks… and my sexy Platform MaryJanes from Target… (I’m getting used to them!)

So yeah.. they’re hidden under jeans cuz it’s still cold out, but with these shoes you can actually see them a little in the front. I probably won’t wear these shoes out though but I might wear my regular maryjanes so you can still see the design. Otherwise when I’m inside I won’t have shoes on most of the time anyways so people will be able to see them a little!!

These are another pair from my last order from Sock Dreams with the E-Gift Card. I had actually tried to order the Striped Top Knee-Highs with skulls in pink but ended up with the Striped Woven Skulls Knee-Highs in Pink, but both styles were on my wishlist so I never complained about it. I had decided against ordering them because I heard they might not work with my calves, but I wore them other day and they were just fine. Maybe a little bit of distortion but nothing serious and I think they ended up stretching out a bit as I wore them. Might have to be careful when I wash them though!

Here they are with some black pumps. I’ve been practicing walking around the house in heels just to see how it feels, but the only ones I’ve worn out of the house so far are some boots. I tried these on with the boots too but since they’re only knee-high they were pretty much covered which defeats the purpose of wearing cute socks to begin with!

And here’s another shot taken in the mirror to see the outfit I wore them with. Nothing too special, just an old pink top from the Deb and a little jean skirt I think also from the same place. For some reason I always imagine that I have a lot of pink tops in my wardrobe so I end up with lots of pink socks and then realize that I barely have anything to wear them with. I really need to go shopping soon!!

P.S. These are actually one of the pairs I’ve seen on TV lately. Pretty sure it was on the Girlicious show, would have been the first episode I think. But either way, that’s what reminded me to bust them out and finally wear them and take pics!

Been seeing a lot of cool socks on tv lately and I love it. Mostly it’s been on shows like America’s Next Top Model and The Pussycat Dolls present Girlicious. And it’s been every single episode of both so it’s pretty cool. Even been seeing some stuff that I have too which I love. Makes me want to dress up again… it’s been a while, between being sick and it just being so cold and randomly snowing, I just haven’t been in the mood lately… but I’m trying. In fact I might take some pictures tonight of some wish list stuff I haven’t gotten around to playing with yet and some stuff I saw on the show and remembered I haven’t even worn yet… so yeah, there might actually be a real update on here soon! Imagine that.
